Tomatoes (2018) – this song was inspired by seeing a small plate of freshly picked tomatoes at a friend’s house in the country. The tomatoes had come from her newly established garden in regional Victoria. Thanks to Stephen Blackburn, my recording engineer since early 2021, for recording and pulling together these tracks. Many sparks of inspiration for these songs came from songwriting workshops and gatherings with groups in Melbourne and New York State with whom I have ongoing connections.
