For 2026, we’re excited to bring you a full festival program of thoughtful performances, workshops about lesbian cultural heritage, intergenerational community-building & dialogue, feminist change-making and more, film screenings, shared meals, and the chance to unwind, share and grow together with sisters in the woods of Michigan. wpifestivalontheland.comWPI Presents: Festival On the Land Music Camp for Women & Girls. WPI is a ‘Women’s Performance Initiative’ aka (Women Play Instruments) for women and girls to experience expressing themselves via their voices and instruments as well as via several other modes of expression while on the land at ‘WWTLC’, i.e. art, dance, spoken word, acting, etc. Rehearsal & Jam workshops will be available for multiple performance groups: vocal, ukulele, acoustic instruments, orchestral & drum ensembles. Performance artists/coaches will perform at the WPI Festival Final performances. Important Note: The RISE and WPI Festival on The Land event is specifically designed for women and girls.
