The CF-50AM Polyurethane Elastomer is a 50 shore A, low odour, tough, Mercury Free system. Perfect for creating a variety of cast parts or mold making applications. It has a unique ability to accept pigments ranging from light to dark colors, taking on true tones. We are proud to launch the new ColorFlex range from BJB, a line of easily pigmented polyurethane elastomers. For decades, BJB has been the industry go-to for high performance polyurethane elastomers that are easy to use, fast turnaround, and perform reliably in demanding applications.The main caveats to some higher physical property systems are dealing with the natural amber base colour of the material and polyurethane odour. When you tint those systems using light colour pigments and/or expose it to the sun, the colour shift can be swift and dramatic. Trying to colour-match or create bright white parts could also be a big challenge due to the amber base. The ColorFlex material line answers these limitations with a semi-translucent, neutral white base colour that accepts a wide range of our Opaque Polyurethane pigments. When CF-50AM Polyurethane Elastomer is exposed to moderate UV Light, the colour stability of ColorFlex opens up a whole new dimension of possibilities for you and/or your client. ColorFlex is also: Mercury Free, Phthalate Free, RoHS/REACH Compliant, Low Odour, and exhibits good Rebound, Abrasion, and Tear Resistance.
