Grasping at Stars is a first publication of poetry for Lisa Sarno, member of the Lansing-based women’s poetry collective, Voices of the Revolution. This book offers a glimpse into the author’s experiences as a bi-racial, adopted, queer, gender non-conforming person and their digestion of socio-political events, love, desire, outrage, and grief. The book contains many of Lisa’s previously performed works as well as new materials relevant to current happenings.
